Thank you for all nominations we have received during 2018/2019. At the moment we are expecting your nominations for 2020.


  1. Nominations can be submitted from the company itself or another party.
  2. There is no charge to nominate and you can enter as many categories as you wish.
  3. Information provided should be relevant to the company’s activities in the previous 18 months from point of nomination.
  4. Each written submission should be in total at least 600 words and a maximum of 1,000 words. This word count is applicable to all parts of the nomination in total.
  5. We will not consider nominations that do not conform to this word count.
  6. Nominations MUST include details of company revenues where specified.
  7. For the purposes of these criteria, SME refers to companies of under 50 total staff.
  8. The judges convene two weeks before the awards ceremony to review all of the finalists’ nominations. They will decide the winners based on the written submissions and public vote, so try to include as much information as possible and gain as much public vote as possible using all social media and encouraging your followers to vote for you, providing meaningful figures/statistics to support points.

Entry Terms and Conditions

  1. You may enter only in 4 categories

  3. The competition is open to all businesses in UK founded by bulgarians who commenced business before January 2020
  4. Entry is Free
  5. 250 employees or less in the UK at the time of entering
  6. Entrants must have less than 250 employees at the time of entering or be self employed
  7. A sponsor can not enter an award in the category that they are sponsoring
  8. Each category has different requirements in terms of length of time in business or age of entrant – please see individual awards for specific rules
  9. The comments made on your application form should be accurate to the best of your knowledge
  10. The Judges will be representatives from each of the sponsors and guest judges, who are well respected experts in their field
  11. The Judges reserve the right to move your application to another category or to add you to another category
  12. The Judges’ decision is final
  13. By entering these awards, you agree to our business partners and sponsors having access to your contact details
  14. Entrants must be available for consultation with the Judges should the need arise
  15. By entering the awards you agree to partake in publicity of the awards, including the use of any images taken
  16. Each category must receive minimum 3 entries.
  17. Should a category not receive sufficient entries, it will be withdrawn from the Awards Ceremony
  18. Entries will only be accepted on the official entry form
  19. Entry is completed solely on your application form, there will be no site visits
  20. The closing date for all entries is midnight of 31th January 2020.
  21. We reserve the right to extend the deadline
  22. All finalists will be required to attend the Award Final evening at their own cost
  23. The Award Ceremony will take place in 2020 at the Grand Hall of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria, 186-188 Queen’s Gate, Kensington, London SW7 5HL.
